On a official server it wont let me put down any crafting stations, it shows up as green and when i try to place it, it doesnt say anything just wont work

try crouching, sometimes that fixes it

Or try constructing it somewhere else, even on the ground … then select to Move it using the circle command. If that doesn’t work either, then for some reason that desired location simply isn’t valid (or buggy).
