Also experiencing this on Xbox. @community are we missing a patch?
I have the same problem. I was playing, quit and tried to log back on and get the same message on official and private server.
My platforms both Steam and Epic Games do not apply updates. which is done automatically by the applications
I understand that, I’m getting the same message on console.
Same thing on official server 1518.
Was getting this message. Then update finally showed up up in Steam.
No visible patch notes.
After patching, still getting incompatible version message on most official servers.
Thought Funcom had said they were not going to do updates right before a weekend any more.
Lol this is pretty tipical for Conan Exiles…
The server files received an update, and our client not yet… I wouldnt be surprized if we couldn’t play conan exiles untill mid next week. 
Me and friend cant login to official pvp server. It says wrong version, but there is no update to the game. Tried restarting steam but nope - no patch.

same here, on every offi servers.
but it can’t actually have anything to do with server updates since private servers work. These are also updated automatically

Hey guys, got the same issue … can’t they roll back their update until its working?
I was on official server and died in combat, fell through the floor respawning, decided to restart my game and then it wouldnt let me play anymore. All my loot is gone now.
Tried restarting steam, then re-installing the game and verifying the game files … nothing worked!

there is no update. and this bug doesn’t affect all players. Many players can continue to play normally. Which wouldn’t be the case with an update. You can also play on all private servers. There’s another problem here that I haven’t figured out myself yet
