It’s been in the game since launch, and I’m sure other people have fallen for this “death trap”.
Upon walking in that general area you fall underneath the map. With enough patience and stamina you can climb out of it. It’s the platform before going down to the witch queen dungeon near that white gorilla.
Do it nude and no risk losing any stuff.

Well… The point is that it shouldn’t be there.
I could get out of there fine, since I already fell for it long ago. The first time? It took me forever to find a way out, because I didn’t want to lose everything I had on me.
I know it’s in the wrong section, but it’s been there for so long I wanted to make it as a sarcastic suggestion thread. Please, let the art department know of this hole @Jens_Erik. I also know of another death trap location if needed. It’s also in the jungle area, and it has to do with dying from being “outside the barrier” when you’re inside it (At the bottom near that spider area).
Can’t right now, but will provide more information later.

It’s kinda funny, really. I’ve spent the past several years finding holes in other peoples’ code & play CE to de-stress. And end up looking for more holes in the code…

If you go inside that web and wait a couple seconds, you’ll die. The message shown on screen is being outside the barrier.
I stumbled into that as well when I was passing the area with a clanmate. I charged at the white gorilla because said mate isnt 60 yet and after 1-2 hits I suddenly fell down.
I think someone should try climbing to other location from there. Checking if building below the map is possible due to this thing.
I ve had that too there, ( bout 2 months ago)about in the far east corner of Buccaneer bay.
While swimming suddenly died and body was unretrievable(Green wall)
Marker went wandering off map and dissapeared.
It felt as the actual collision line was not in the correct spot related to the visual green wall.
Thanks for the report, Rorik. I’m going to move this over to the PC Bugs section and send the coordinates over to the environment artists.
EDIT: I’ve been told by the environment artists that this has been fixed internally, it just needs to be patched into the game.
If you wanna report a location, it is a great help for everyone if you using the following:
1: Open the Map (no Admin rights needed)
2: Press Shift+CTRL+ALT+L (crib L for Locations)
3: Now you see a Teleportplayer: and XYZ coordinates.
4: Copy them with CTRL+C
5: And Paste it here with CTRL+V
Someone already DM’d me the location coordinates, but this is also just great information to have out there in the community
