Ok I have a couple of questions. Unless old Croms_Faithful is off his rocker and spiralling into dementia, the amount of Crom Coins we receive for our money has only very recently changed in my country. It used to be as follows:
$15 gets us 1,500 Crom Coins (or $1 AU equates to 100 CC)
I always remembered it because it happened to be a nice easy conversion. So I have just checked the Black Lotus Bazaar Conan Exiles and discovered that $15 now only gets us $1,200 Crom Coins! So I wanted to ask everyone:
1)Has anyone else seen their exchange rate between real life currency and Crom Coins change in the last several days?
2)Does the amount of Crom Coins we receive in our respective nations vary depending on our national dollar value/foreign exchange rates?
Yes, I know that the second question is a silly one. But I just wanted to make absolutely certain I get my facts straight. Because the way in which I respond next will be dependent on what is ascertained here…
I’m curious about this now because I was thinking about purchasing some to get the sandstone set and the dragonbone katana. The rate here in the US was also $1=100cc, and noticed that prices in the bazaar looked like they were being brought down to more reasonable levels, but if the exchange rate on Crom Coins has changed, that might not be the case.
Sighs I really wish Funcom didn’t sell out to Tencent.
EDIT: I actually just checked and it seems we get more Crom Coins for $10 now, so I was wrong there. It now looks like 1200 for $10 USD.
Are you absolutely, positively sure about that everybodyvsME?? I do know that it has always been $14.95, BUT…and this is where I am not certain. I thought that $14.95 netted us 1,500 Crom Coins, not 1,200. @Lucidique how is you memory, care to confirm or speculate in either direction?
I will continue search my phone for an older pricing picture, but it is looking as though I may have lucked out.
If your prices go up or down, its because your local currency is stronger or weaker to the dollar. But like others have said, I’m pretty certain 1200 has always been the amount given in that slot.
This relates to AUD rates Taemien. But this is what I have attempting to establish in Q2. Will these values fluctuate or are they fixed? But it is looking increasingly likely that I am just having a senior moment here…
