Not sure if this has been reported before, I would imagine it has, but if not here it goes. I noticed that when buildng say the Stormglass roof pieces, the glass tops will not reflect water away when it rains. So when a storm comes thru, the inside should be dry or clear of rain, but it is not when having those types of roof tiles.
Just placing the “Stormglass” glass roof tiles up.
I’ve reported it several times. I provided video. this was prior to the bazaar expansion… which introduced more glass roof elements with the issue.
Just to clarify: This applies to both the DLC base stormglass Angled Glass roof (but not the Stormglass Angled Roof without glass), the Bazaar paid expansion flat Stormglass Glass Roof (but not the normal roof tile), and the Stormglass Glass Wedge from the bazaar paid expansion. Again, excluding the normal wedge.
All allow visible falling drops of water to pass through when built in a biome that has rain. Replace the glass roofing items with the non-glass versions and the falling raindrops stop. Switch back… raindrops resume falling through the roof.
I can confirm that Stormglass roof pieces with glass do not prevent the rain from coming in. The only thing they kinda fixed was the floors on the inside not being wet but the rain drops still come through. slow claps
It does it in mod glass pieces too. It seems to be tied to the transparency setting is what they are using to cull the rain.
Well this is a shame. I really like the stained glass look with the Stormglass style, but it just breaks the construction of one’s build with it because of the rain effect coming thru when it should not be, lol.
I’ve seen this before with the glass roofs not reflecting away weather like that in another game for example. l would think it would not be an overly complicated matter to patch that. No pun intended.
