Sandstorm doesn’t seem to be giving visual queues when it’s coming or occurring, all that’s showing up is the debuff.

A friend on my server, said this exact same thing, but I haven’t tried to confirm it yet.
Works fine so far on the Official #1026.
Hope it will get fixed for you.
If you log in at the same time that the sandstorm is moving through, this can sometimes prevent the sky from rendering the storm properly. I think that their are some other factors that can contribute to this, too. Not sure what those all might be (going to loading screen for traveling from zone to zone, dungeons, etc.).
