Bug Description:
Hello I have problem which I can not seem to figure out. I have a private server that me and 1 of my friends are playing on and all the sudden we have problem where my friend has a sandstorm in his game but I don’t see anything. I don’t take any damage or even have the sandstorm effect in the top left of my screen. I also never experience any sandstorms at all by myself or anything its as if I can no longer see sand storms even though everyone else on my server can see them at the same time and I cant. I am so confused on why this is happening all the sudden and I have tried several things to fix this such as…
-Restart Server
-Used sandstorm force start command and did nothing for me
-Disabled storms then reloaded server then enabled and reloaded server
-I even went to the effort to install mods to try to force a sandstorm or control the path and timing on them and none of those setting work or have any effect.
This is very annoying because this is my first time playing the game and I really enjoyed experiencing the sandstorms with my friend and now we cant do that anymore. It was one of our favorite things in the game. If anyone has any way to fix this PLEASE let me know I really want to be able to fix this. If this is unfixable then that’s really bad.
You need to go to newb river snd discover the broken bridge. Its a mechanic in the game to prevent new players from dying to the sandstorm as they first spawn in.
Players regularly used to complain about instant dying after making a character (if they happened to create said character during an active storm). Well those complaints dont happen anymore at least
