Sandstorm active with normal weather

Another player stands right behind me and tells me he is in the middle of a sandstorm. i have normal weather conditions. a few seconds later, i see the info labe at the left “Sandstorm” and i get damage…
it is not just me, same problem happens to other players. i have a sandstorm and they have normal weather but get damage.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Be two people on a server
  2. Have a Sandstorm
  3. Sometimes

Sandstorm is bugged, they do not want to fix it or at least to disable it until it get fixed.

This is on official servers too - clear skies and suddenly I’m taking sandstorm damage, or I get the visuals for a sandstorm and no damage.
