Server #1345 down for 30+ days now

I posted a month ago about server #1345 being down, seemingly from an attack. It is still behaving the exact same way. I’ve managed to log in maybe 3 times for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, so my timers might be refreshing (hopefully), but can this please be fixed? Whether it is a server issue or an attack, 30 days is a long time.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Log into #1345
  2. Wait 5-10 minutes for the server to try loading
  3. Booted back to menu with message “failed to connect”

Post update no change at all, other than maybe it doesn’t take as long to get the connection failure.

I noticed the decay timers are going to be reset soon, is there something I can do to get this issue resolved before that happens? With the longer timers my occasional 30 seconds in game before crashing seem to refresh things, but it’s so sporadic that I can actually get in that 7 days will decay everything.

I see other threads about servers down that get a response, and get fixed from FC or Gportal, so let me ask again. Is there something I can do to get this noticed/fixed? This is way beyond attack stage at this point.
If it is just an attack on the server, then either it wasn’t actually prioritized, or the guy who is in charge of fixing server attacks really sucks at his job. I’m trying to be patient, but this is getting silly. I really don’t want to lose all my stuff and restart from 0.

Hey @Maedhros

The issue happening in 1345 is the same happening in other threads reporting different servers. The status regarding that issue is similar to other servers. We’re starting to deploy back-end changes to some servers and tweaking them to adapt to those attacks. Once they are stable and working, they’ll be deployed on all servers, at least those constantly attacked.

@Ignasi was there any timeframe given for deploying that fix? I tried it again today, issue is exactly the same.

Also, is it possible to restore a saved server state from sometime in the past 2 months it has been down, or am I guaranteed to have lost everything at this point?
