Coucou mais comment vous faite pour différencier les ancien mods ? j’ai genre 4558 ligne de mods moi…
This deletes old, unused assets that are still in the game.db as a corpse and encounter an error from a new Funcom query method. This ensures that it takes a few minutes until the next asset can be checked, which is why the server does not start up. It’s not removed your mods, only the assets that blocked the startup. (Check for “None” entries in your Log.) This will clean up the corpses in the .db However, I advise against manually deleting them in the game.db and using the script as I mentioned above, otherwise many things can break later.
So long as you only remove the lines from mods you no longer load when the server starts it’s oki.
You get none or less of the None Issue and boot time will be far far shorter.
Mine boots in 5-10 min instead of 1+ hour before.
It’s a temp fix but at least it works
Just finished, and WOW what a life saver!. My siptah server normally boots after 12-15 minutes, after hotfix was up to 30. My CE server normally took 20 but after hotfix took nearly 2 days, afterwards down to 25.
May be a temp but this is a hell of a strong band-aid
It worked perfectly on my 4-years old database. If I had listened to the commonly accepted version, I would have had to wipe my server several times since then, and also to fix this problem.
It had so much old mods entries (especially from this calamity of Dudes…) that my dedicated server, after the last Funcom hotfix, took more than an entire night to load it (more than 8-10 hours, I turned it off before it launch, but without having it failed, it was still looking for missing entries…)
It’s not only a quickfix. Now our server takes only 12 minutes to start where it took at least 15 before the Funcom fix that broke everything, and we know how to clean our database each time we delete a mod. Also be aware that many mods that you still use leave traces of old items which no longer exist after an update (it was the case for us with Emberlight that we still use but has a huge amount of missing entries too, probably due to many updates of this mod through years).
I can also confirm that the problem is due to a change in the way the server boots. Now the server looks for EVERY missing entries on your database before launching.
Unlike many players, I don’t like dropping my panties in front of modders, but Testerle, you’re not only a good modder, you’re a great fixer. Thanks a lot.
ok i tried the solution here and nothing
so i nuked my steam conan exile and i mean i ereased all and reinstalled
still nothing ables me to play this mess of a game
but i want to remark the fact that its not a modding fault
im sad that the only conan game is in these incompetent hands
sorry for my bad english
single player anyway
Go here and see if they can help you.
Can confirm it’s helps to ask in there. Didn’t work for our servers at first either but Essence helped our admin get them going.
Would be good to hear something from the devs. The server I played on takes 5h to boot and it’s been 3 weeks now
The Problem is still there, and the band-aid is not a longterm solution. Is there any comment or suggestion from the side of FUNCOM?
Or will we get the usual, that modded server are not there juristriction?
No to the first and yes to the second.
Anyway, they are going on vacation now so check again next year (and keep low expectations).
