Bug Description:
After the latest update (May Hotfix, May 27 2025), my quitting game screen froze. After restarting, my SP game had the ‘All of your distributed attribute points have been reset due to significant changes in the progression system.’ bug, with chunks of base missing, multiple table thralls gone, 1 attribute point, etc. I made myself admin and reset points, but ended up stuck at 59 with thousands of knowledge points. I bit the bullet and started a new character last night, no issues. Quit the game at lvl 20, but the quitting game screen froze again, and upon restart I was back at the character creation screen. I’m afraid my account is screwed up somehow and am requesting help. I was lvl 60 gearing up for endgame dungeons two days ago! Thanks in advance for any help you might offer, I love this game so much but it feels like my offline game is perma-screwed right now.
Bug Reproduction:
Reliably now - every third or fourth time I quit the game - the quitting game screen will freeze and become unresponsive. Closing the game from the PS5 home screen and restarting results in my SP game starting back at the character creation screen. My only recourse is to download the most recent cloud save, everything since is lost.
