Bug Description:

We went to the Leyshrine of the Demon on Siptah to summon a T4 Surge. We crafted the North-East altar for a T4 Aquilonia summon. We placed 1,000 essences in (20 of the Greater purple Essences), pulled the lever to hit go, and it spawned a T1 Black Hand surge. Something is bugged here. We tried it again, because we wanted to be sure it was not user error, and it happened again. The bug should be easy to replicate.

Bug Reproduction:

Go to Leyshrine of the Demon on Siptah. Craft the North-East altar. Place 20 Greater Essences in (50x20=1,000 essences) and summon a surge. Instead of receiving a T4 Aquilonia surge, you will receive a T1 Black Hand surge.

When you use the North-East Focus Altar, it can be either a Black Hand or Aquilonian Surge. I believe the surge you receive is randomly chosen among those available. However, I’m not sure how you determined it to be a T1 surge. In my experience, the tier 1-3 are indistinguishable, the only thing setting them apart from T4 is the absence of named thralls. Still, if no named thralls (at all) are spawning then it’s definitely something that needs a fix.

There were no named thralls either time, that’s how we knew it was not a T4 surge. Every last thrall was a T1 or T2. It was nothing like the previous T4 surges we have done.
