Will a regular pet be able to evolve into a Greater pet? Er, no. However, there is a small caveat. Basic pets can become on a par with a Greater pet, and in some cases, given enough luck, even better with this new levelling system. You may encounter situations where a normal rhino will beat the snot out of a Greater rhino, although this is admittedly rare. So Greater pets are still slightly more powerful, but there might be cases where, you know, I think at some point Robert referred to something as like a Chicken of Doom where apparently there’s a’ ostrich out there that’s like super powerful.
Nothing here denies the continued existence of greater pets, and the greater Lion and Wolf I’ve so-far tamed certainly discredit this fallacy. I can see where the confusion lies, but it’s simply not true.
