So I saw a post about greater pets skins and some missing for some animals but what about all the ones we have that are only for GREATER Pets, as well they did say no longer any greater pets.
So our skins are no longer valid as they do not go on anything but Greater pets.
I mean not to be a party pooper but did we not pay for those things in our DLC such as great pet skins to match our DLCs.
We simply not pay for the actual game.
We pay for the previous one with greater pets, treb, bombs, movement and dodge.
I do not have fun to play anymore, all of theses changes are wrong.
Greater pets are still in game, you might simply have bad luck if you haven’t gotten a Greater version for a long time. Try to use the best food for a better chance.
By the way, most skins for regular and greater pets are looking pretty much the same, with a few exceptions (mostly due to the size difference of regular and greater pets).
We recently compiled a complete overview of all available pets in game (including all the new base stats) and DLC variants. I hope this helps.
Then why in their stream when they gave us that great news about having to have all new thralls did they say no more greater pets??? That is the point I am making if they still are able to be gotten why did they say there would no longer be any, their words, their actions never match.
Thank you very much for that info I will book mark it as I know many people do not know so be great to point them too, but I have 2500 hrs in the game I know the pets but I was going by them saying no more greater pets when the new thralls roll out.
I’m having some great wolves at the moment with the shadespice, my spiders all failed as also 4 hyenas, but the presence of greater wolves is an evidence of greater pets still in the game, keep the taming fella, Lady luck will kiss ya sooner or later!!!
I mean all the things you listed are still in the game lol :D. Like any game they have just tweaked some of these things, that will happen man. You ever played a MOBA? if you arent used to a game changing over time then just play a MOBA for a few months and see how much things change and get nerfed, buffed re-skinned, removed, added, reworked… This is a thing that will happen in any largely multiplayer online type of game my friend, If this is not something you re able to cope with then I think single player games, ones like Skyrim, Half life, Doom, those are maybe more your type of thing as the game won’t change over time from what it was like when you bought it, But take any multiplayer game and it changes over time for balance, development and innovation reasons. I for one am really happy that Conan has devs that are actually still actively updating their game and actually take a lot of customer feedback on board when they do.
I have been around the block when it comes to online survival games and let me tell you some Devs leave their game to rot and just try squeeze out as much paid DLC content as possible while never adding any other fixes to their game. Funcom is a far cray from this and so I commend them on actually still having the motivation to improve things. Even with the recent momentum and dodge mechanics they took customer feedback and implemented tweaks and changes to the new system, I am already much happier with the way it is now and in the beginning I really did not like the changes, but Funcom unlike a lot of other devs actually listen to customer feedback. You are all really spoiled by them believe me, some of you just don’t realize it yet.
I play SP and just love this feature With every big patch (like this with Thrall leveling) I return & begin a new game. There is not much to do after some time but devs always make smth. new and I can’t just switch to another sandbox game.
Yesterday i got a greater wolf… so i don’t know what misinformation are you trying to spread.
I paid for the game without combos, without more than 1 biome, without more than 3 armors, without perks, without many other things that were introduced later but with the promise of getting better, and guess what? it got much better now. accept it.
Did you ask me to change my title for what reason , I am sorry you do not think it is correct but I have listened to this stream a couple of times as thralls do not evolve like they said on the stream that they would.
First off yes I know they said random but any fighters are worthless with archer skills and many archers are near sighted and have traits that no archer would even have so I listened to it more then once getting a bit tired of leveling up worthless thralls ( I mean all most of us want is a archer that has the skill to hit something other then their toe as they are totally near sighted or some wacky trait like -2 to -8 archery ), so I re-listened and each and every time they say, pets can not evolve into greater pets so if they say it and still they are there great but then why say it , so no I will not be changing my post title but thank you for your suggestion.
I believe what he’s referring to in that segment is that you cannot level a basic, full grown pet into a greater version. If you pull a grown, basic shaleback from your animal pen and level it up, it will never become a greater shaleback. With proper feeding and some leveling luck in the perks, your basic version fully leveled might turn out preferable to your greater version fully leveled.
You do, however, have a chance to get the greater version from the babies that operates just as it did before (I’ve gotten the greater versions of tigers, shaleback, and hyena so far).
For example, I put two baby shalebacks into the pen and fed them desert berries. I got 1 basic and 1 greater. The greater starts off with much higher HP (2,257 vs. 296) and generally all around better stats. Through the leveling process, there is a chance that my basic shaleback will be better than my greater, but my basic shaleback will never evolve into the greater form.
This. You just cant turn a normal pet once tamed into a greater pet, which is a pretty understandable question to have at that point. It was like wondering if we could only ride horses or if camels were an option.
