Ok, after taking a lengthy break for Conan, several friends and I decided to try it again and see the latest changes. We were playing on a server that we already had characters on and it seemed to basically be a dead server (other than a couple of bases around that looked like they were being reset). I heard rumors from another player who had recently been on the server that there was some cheater clan on it (that they were trying to get banned).
Well we played quite a bit for about a week and were actually having fun (even though it was basically just us on the server from what we could see). While not a fan of the new combat system, it wasn’t game breaking (I know a different subject…).
After about a week after farming up thralls, resources and creating several T3 bases, we were offlined by a player (need for offline protection is another subject…).
So here is where it gets interesting (and I realize this post may get shutdown but oh well…). I’m debating whether to log a Zendesk ticket. I’ve played Conan since 2017 pretty much always on PVP and have been raided and done my own raiding many times. Where it gets interesting is when I look at the logs the single raider was able to loot a chest or station pretty much like clockwork every two minutes including when they hit our other base which was kinda close to the first base but not next to it. We had our bases honeycombed with multiple doors, walls, etc (as mentioned we are experienced with PVP).
I realize probably hard to prove as a cheat (and honestly I’m not 100% sure) but suspicious with just the quickness they were able to blow thru multiple barriers AND the fact that they apparently knew where all our chests were (ignored empty rooms).
Just curious with how Funcom made bombs too powerful and too easy to use is it common for folks to be able to wipe 2 bases like that in 20 minutes?
Thoughts?
The bummer is that I’m pretty much sure the one friend is completely done with Conan (tired of putting the time in just to be offlined and wiped in one night).
