Somebody knows how to change char's name?

I have seen a lot of people with different char’s name from PSN’s nick. Do you know how I do it?

When you finish creating a character and you read the note on your torso about what you did to be exiled you can select your name and change it. As far as I know you cannot change it after spawning in the desert.
