"Sword Training" emote for Thralls

Hello,

I know there have been similar threads asking for this but they are now closed, and the feature is still not added to the game. I have noticed that the “Sword Training” emote aquired from battle pass is only usable for the player, but not for thralls. I think its strange because such emote has limited usefulness for the player. Afterall we want to actually play the game, not stand in place and emote. After emoting for few minutes we want to move on with our tasks in game. Meanwhile, the emote would be a great addition to any settlement where thralls could be seen practicing.

I strongly suggest this to be added for thralls.

I also noticed there is a “Yamatai Kata Set” to be purchased in the Bazaar. It looks cool, but now following knowledge that Sword Training is for player only I see no point in purchasing it. If you value your customers and want to drive sales please make sure that these emotes are useable for Thralls as well. Moreover you should always specify it in the item description. I think thats a good business case you can pitch to your superiors, just tell them it will drive up sales and I am sure they will greenlight it.

I’m sure it was their plan to have those weapon emotes be useable by thralls, but maybe were unable to follow through. You can tell because thralls with equipped weapons can no longer access their emote wheel. Similarly, zombie thralls used to be able to emote but can no longer do so because they technically carry invisible weapons.

Hopefully funcom re-evaluates weapon emotes for thralls in the future because it would be seriously cool to have.

Yes, I noticed that as well. Thought that maybe thrall has to have their weapon in hand to use it, but noticed their emote wheel just becomes empty when that happens.

I hope my thread will be a proof that we as the community still look forward to this feature and there is still interest in it
