guys I was trying to kill the Undead Dragon.
I killed it really easy LONG time ago, with a T4 bearer and an Ancient Axel (the steel one, not the lemurian).
Now I tried to kill it with an Ancient Lemurian Axe (63 damage) and a Cimmeria Berserker lv.11 and it was killing me …
I have Khitan Medium, while my Berserker have Guardian (heavy).
Is it normal ? Has it become stronger since last time I killed it ?
Last time was just before the new Thrall level system came out.
He’s pretty nasty, I’m not sure when or if he was changed though
It’s not much different to me than any other dragon fight except all the corruption. There is a red dragon in the unnamed city in a corruption area but it’s really easy to pull him out.
By the time I fight past the snake I’m already stacking up a fair amount of corruption, I know you don’t have to fight the snake, but I always do anyway because stubborn
I currently have a dancer who lives outside the arena so people can run out after clearing part and clear their corruption
I’m pretty surprised she’s still there actually as she is set to passive, is only level 2 and I am on a mixed (PvE/PvP)private server Just the fact that no one has accidentally dragged mobs to her alone is crazy
Yeah, the corruption definitely makes the fight harder. To be honest I usually just wind up taking a dancer in with me - t3 or 4 Cimmerians tend to be fairly tough, but I know I’ve gone in there with Bohdan the Flexible in the past and I think he’s t4 exile - so long as they’ve got epic armor and a decent weapon (and plenty of levels) they seem to do ok. That said, I don’t generally leave them on daggers for the Arena - I usually go for either 1handed mace or 2handed sword for them. Ancient Lemurian Axe would be my preference for me (or Yog’s Touch), with a master weapon fitting if available - but a good 1h mace or 2h hammer can also be good.
If not comfortable taking a dancer in (or spending the time to level them), sticking one outside sounds like a good plan. I hadn’t really thought about clearing partway then coming back out to cleanse - nice idea
I’ve given up trying to avoid him, lol - he usually seems to come up the stairs to get me even if I do try to get past him - obviously doesn’t want me to miss out on his skeleton key
It is the dodge system that changed all this. Back then without armor you could defeat any boss. Your dodging was so big and effective, you were almost invisible. What is really changed from back then to all the dragons is the fire breath. Back then was OK, now the damage is really big.
And ofcurce their attack moves, they are more.
