Thralls bought by tavern system comes with 0 down strikes left

Hello everybody

Not sure if its a bug or its just designed that way, but Thralls bought by tavern system comes with 0 down strikes left, which is very sad.

Its very very rare to have T4 thrall comes to your tavern, and 500 Gold is good price , so why not making it like normal thrall and let it come with 3 strikes left.

What do you thing?

Strikes recover with time, so I don’t know why this is an issue. If you are concerned about losing them, then just set them somewhere safe and wait.

500 gold for a T4 is exceptionally cheap. Gold is very easy to acquire these days. It should be double that, minimum, though I’d go with even more.

I’m on Playstation that is something I have not checked in to something for this weekends adventure  Thanks

how much time ? i left one for like a week now and still with 0 strikes

I believe it is 15 minutes. Can you take a screenshot of their strikes?

this is Janos , a thrall I captured, lost his strikes, I parked him for a week now he still at 0

same with the one bought from tavern few days now still 0 strike

Not having strikes is a good thing. The strikes count up and they die permanently at 3 strikes.

hmm? when i capture i thrall he always come like in the photo u sent, and Janos after he dead 2 time he has no strikes left , so i believe after he dead again now he will do for good.

all my thralls are like the photo you uploaded

I don’t think you understand how the system works..

What Tephra was trying to tell you is that the strikes are not permanent… they reset. Thralls only die if they get downed 4 times within 15 minutes.

They can die 3 times… then lose that buff… die 3 more times… lose the buff again… die 3 more times… etc..

The picture you sent of Janos shows NO strikes.. which means he can die… get 1 strike.. die again… get 2 strikes… die again… get 3 strikes… die again… and actually die.. but all that needs to happen within a 15 minute window.

You seem to think it’s backwards and that those are somehow lives they’re losing.. they’re not… they’re punishments / debuffs.. having them IS the bad thing :stuck_out_tongue:

I understood his point and explanation, but my question was , why thralls that just came out of wheel of pain come with the strike buff?

I think i will just try it in single player to make sure, it might be the opposite and u understood it wrong , unless you already tried it and have the same thing as my thralls

thank you for your explination

yes is as you described , but then why all thralls come with 1 strike already ? and it doesn’t rest after a week, unless he already lost all his strikes?

The issue is on the server side and does not really matter if the timer to clear the strikes works. I just checked on a server with this problem since months (official xbox pve #2002):

Out of cage, already one strike.

Hired at bar, has one strike already:

Wildlife and any other living (and undead) creature, one strike:

To reset the timer the thrall has to go down actually (Sorry Mrs. TIII-Smith, note that all spiders are also at one strike…):

Now two strikes:

On this server the thralls pulled fresh from the wheel are also at one strike, and, again, they have to go down once to clear the status.

After 15 minutes (i actually measured it, timer starts when the trall goes down not when you bring him up again) all is good:

A few players have reported on some PC Official PVP servers that they’re getting 3 strikes upon placement and will die.

Good to know it clears it for 1 or 2 though!
