Thralls falling through ceilings and fences after patch (and possible solution)

Game mode: Online official
Type of issue: Bug
Server type: PVP
Region: NA

After the patch thralls are exhibiting various unwanted and annoying behavior. So far I have experienced thralls falling through fences and ceilings (see pictures), and thralls running through the air and rubberbanding back to their previous position on a loop. None of this was experienced before the patch. I also noticed that thralls on decayed buildings will now fall down to the proper height instead of staying floating in the place where they were placed like they did before the patch. I believe these two issues may be related. It may also be related to the way thralls are rendered in relation to the buildings they are placed on.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Return to base after being away, or logging on (base renders)
  2. Observe some thralls have fallen through ceilings (seems to be random, sometimes 1 sometimes several.)
  3. Thralls aggro onto something
  4. Observe some thralls exhibiting the rubberbanding behavior, and some thralls moving around (previously archer’s stayed in their spot, I would prefer this behavior)

Possible fix could include returning the way thralls are rendered in space to before the patch. If the changes to thralls included in the latest patch are part of a larger overhaul to thrall AI, I would personally prefer to see the whole overhaul completed and then rolled out as opposed to being patched in piecemeal and new bugs being introduced each time.

Thanks

This seems to have been fixed by the latest hotfix. Either it was unlisted or just an accident. If the former, then response time was impressive.
Coincidentally, thralls on decayed structures have returned to their previous behavior of floating in space rather than falling down, which supports my guess that the two issues were linked. (will have to find another way of having thralls fall down, or just keep floating thralls in, it doesn’t bother me that much).

EDIT: it’s still happening although much less frequently

Floating Thralls go away when they starve. That starve time can vary, especially if the person who left fed them with Honey.
