Thralls wander and stuck

Bug Description:

Thralls wander off - not return,
(redact(expected behaviour) - AI NPC taking up Tavern barkeeper position)

  1. Thralls have wander off and are gathering on top of Aqua duct structure.

This is just after most recent restart around 00:30am( 5/11/24 ) Sydney AU.

** 02:56 05/11/24 Sydney AU. gathered up thralls returned them to benches, they wandered off again.

Have you built a base around the Aqueduct itself? I had a somewhat similar issue on a base I built recently where thralls would go up to the top floor and around to the edge just to get to a fountain on the floor below, so it may be pathing related

Yes and yes, some hours have passed. I’ll let it play out, just so frustrating on the heels of the first release mess and on the tail of replacing some of the lost Thralls to watch it begin to happen again, Thanks for your thoughts :).

Well, it is a good case study for the GDC talk in the future, who important it is to stress test patterns when developing walking NPCs …

Not that it is “best practice” or anything …

What bothers me more is the insane amount of errors in the logs which start to get in the way of working on mods.
You set logs off so the errors on the game stop clogging the log, but when you need to troubleshoot mods, these new systems make so many errors, even when a new install without mods is left with default log, that the very performance of the game starts to tank.
