I don’t think they made rubber boots back then.
Last time I saw this happen, it was the cook.
It just didn’t look right at the stove.

Not only when you delete the latrine, after a week all my bench thralls had lost their pants… it’s not all the time, but eventually lol

Well, I was lucky for a while, but last week after logging in, I noticed that half the castle was running around without pants (I guess the toilet was busy).
I tried disabling them for LS; hopefully that’ll help.
