Greetings dante4312!
Thank you for reporting this issue to us.
In order for our team to properly assess your issue, could you please let us know what are you seeing when the truncheon when hitting thralls? Is the truncheon killing them, not contributing to knocking them down or some other behaviour?
Not to worry, the next reply will be along the lines of “We see you are on a private server, please join the private server discord because we can’t understand what is wrong because no one on the production team plays the game in regular settings.”
My speculation is that the vast majority of the bugs we encounter would be fixed if the production team played the game in standard mode.
And this issue? Why didn’t someone log into the game and check out the issue? That’s troubleshooting 101.
It has nothing to do with truncheons or servers or mods.
But rather than log into the game in standard setting and check this out, the community is expected to jump through hoops and QA badly tested code and then?
yah i really dont know why they keep asking for information from bug reporters like you are dumb.
the solution is extremely simple. it’s a single number in the statmodifier data table. you dont need to get specific information about what truncheon was used, or anything like that.
customer support and community managers don’t actually work with unreal engine or know anything about how the game works under the hood.
i am a novice modder and i fixed it in about 30 seconds, with several minutes of testing just to be sure that what i thought was the problem was indeed the problem.
it’s a complete lack of playing the game and doing any QA testing. in another thread ( Black Corsairs in Siptah are immune to truncheons Bump! - #2 by RagnarRandom ) i provided screenshots of the data table, the entries and their values that were wrong, and nothing was done. community managers and customer support didnt respond, didn’t chime in, nothing.
so someone in that thread requested that i push the fix to a mod so people could atleast play on siptah on private servers, so i obliged them. and it works just fine.
the solution is obvious. entry 43 of the StatModifierTemplateDataTable. INT 8 controlls consciousness max. it is set to 999999.0 which is functionally infinite.
@Community
this is the kind of things that really makes funcom looks bad,
they could have fixed this weeks ago, the cimmerian issue months ago… it only shows how much funcom cares about this game. so please FIX THE DAMN BUGS!
