Unable to equip anything in off hand

I’m unable to equip anything in my off-hand.

I get an animation like I’m equipping, but nothing.

Sometimes at night when I try to equip a torch, it might flash some light for a fraction of a second, then goes away.

I can’t equip any shields or the rope, so I can’t block during combat and I can’t capture thralls once I knock them out.

I’m playing on a private server.

Steps on how to reproduce issue:

  1. Try to equip an off-hand item.

it’s a current bug, try this one or all of these workarounds:

  • play an emote, any
  • hit twice the space bar
  • equipe a 2-handed-weapon

you should be able to equipe weapon and off-hand items (shields) and so
