Unable to place bed/bedroll inside base

Building my base South East of Sepermeru, on the plateau between the Obelisk and the Relic Hunter city. Building here is allowed, had no issue to place foundations, ceilings, walls, work benches … everything is working fine except I cannot put a bed or bedroll on foundations or ceiling pieces. No message showing a collusion or invalid placement, nothing explaining that it is not allowed to build here), can place everything else but a bed/bedroll.
But I can put one down directly on the ground, just beside foundations or everywhere else on the plateau.
My friend can place his own bed where he wants to at his own base.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

That sounds like an odd one. Could you share a video showing this issue in action so we can have a better look at it?

Thx for your reply, will try to do one but I am not familiar with the video system

Happens to me all the time. I fix it by destroying a ceiling tile, placing the bed, then replacing the ceiling.
