Unconscious thrall on bindings wont teleport

Its same old bug that was fixed and its back!
Basicly unconscious thrall on rope wont teleport with you the line just goes waaaay into map and if u brake the line for some reason (get on horse climb etc u know ) You loose him.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. Make thrall unconscious
  2. Grab him with some bidings
  3. Use maproom
  4. Observe thrall line go into eternity

Hey @Cuteness

Initially, being able to teleport with an unconscious thrall was the bug. We’ll poke our team about the graphical glitch.

Can you ask the team, why we cannot jump on the horse without LOSING the thrall on the rope to begin with?

Because that makes no sense at all.

While it’s not intuitive, I don’t think using the same command (“E” to mount) is helping the issue.

So many things are now tied in with “E”, they have to do some black magic to get them to correlate. They definitely should start working with modifiers (CTRL-E, SHIFT-E whatever) in order to make these things a bit neater.

You also have the added challenge of whatever they do for PC, they’d have to remap for a controller for the PS4/XB versions, which is already a bit confusing from what I’ve been told.

I personally like being able to teleport with a thrall and I think it should remain that way. It keeps random wheel of pain outposts to a minimum because people can just teleport back to their main base and put them on spin.

From an immersion/RP standpoint, that part actually does make sense. You need both hands to mount a horse IRL. One hand on the mane, one hand on the saddle.

how the hell, do you bind a thrall to the rope on a horse? Thats immersive?

Ah, you caught me. I didn’t think one step further. You would have to wrap the binding to the saddle while you were mounting. So it would be like you never unequipped the binding.
