Why challenges continue to bring up monsters from Isle of Siptah on the Exiled Lands is beyond tolerance.
I have a challenge to kill a Blood Moon Beast and a Harpy Champion which neither spawn in the Exiled Lands. I tried the bird demons of Jhil and they don’t count.
And because of how you changed the challenges, I can’t refresh them to something that actually exists in EL
Again, people should be able to complete content as presented instead of needing work arounds. Less letting developers off the hook and more holding them accountable for poor QA.
It’s not a work around. The quests are a boost. That’s what they said in the dev stream. The intended way to complete the pass is to play the game. Gathering materials and crafting things is “Playing the game” and thus is fully intended.
So apparently for demonic cats the no skull lion that just minding his own business on swagger rock counts!……. Ok then it just looks like a regular lion to me tho. Also the white tiger that’s nearby counts too. That’s two close buy.
So on the challenge reset, I got “Malevolent Demon-Spider” and “Kryllandian”, again, only found in Siptah. And yes, I tried the world spider near the sinkhole to double-check.
I think you have valid arguments there but I am focused on just this one particular part that they have touted. I did buy the battle pass and I expect to be able to complete it in the ways that I prefer.
As implemented, challenges are one of those ways but they are not doable by players in Exiled Lands. I paid for it, I should be able to do it. My play experience is not equal and I should not have to log into Siptah to do the challenge.
If you have a problem with a feature and it is not supported, then call Funcom out on it.
This one has called Funcom out in many issues, ad nauseum.
And now, is just tired.
And perhaps wistful for a better game that was wrecked to give us the current dreck.
You’re not wrong that the feature is clearly a hackjab. If you’re going to implement something you should do it right.
I’m just saying that it’s not really a big deal. The pass can be done in 1-2 weeks without much effort. Does it need to be fixed? Yes. Is it a travesty? Not realy.
