See, it’s easy, and on a certain juvenile level, amusing, to not actually read or respond to what someone says or posts, but instead pick a context free line or idea and throw a tantrum.

This is a containment pit. The illusion of engagement. With the occasional player helping or hating on other player.
This one could drone on and on for hours about their lack of esteem for the dev team. For the unsolicited changes, for the half baked and half @$$ed updates. About how this one clucking called it.
That they tacked on an extra chapter, and then doubled length in the name of “quality assurance”, that they axed the battle pass (which this one had no love for, but that is immaterial) in the name of focusing on more content, but that this one expected they were just slowing the pace down to offer us the same slipshot quality with greater lethargy.
And this one is, noting…

But does that improve the quality?
Does it inspire anyone to do better?
Does it clucking matter?
No on all counts.
But make no mistake, regardless of whether posters here are making their faces brown to praise and pander, or going crimson and angry posting until their fingers and screens crack…

Forum activity doesn’t matter an iota to those at the top.
Money does.
So where is the money?
From selling Crom Crypto and from Tencent.
The only things that can matter are how much people spend on the game, or if one of the masters from Tencent tells them to change.
Dune is where their attention is now, so perhaps do something useful and save other potential customers from investing in a company that will maltreat them. Of Dune flops, they’ll feel it. Their masters may even step in.
But posting here about such matters is like a date with your left hand.
It may be personally gratifying, but it also won’t impact anything meaningful.
That’s energy that could be spent on making progress, either to goad change, or at least spite the ones who have wronged you.
That said, by all means, you do have the right to engage in self gratification if necessary or desired, just don’t expect anyone to praise your particular talents, and don’t pass it off as anything other than what it is.
So if Andy is your boogey man and the best punching bag you can find, sure, go ahead, come up with your best scathing and heartfelt hate posts and unleash them…
And then watch as nothing changes.

Edit: If this one was the Father of anyone at Funcom, this one would have already found better employment for them. After extracting the details on how they came about, because this one certainly has not sired any spawn, but even if they are the result of stolen genetic material, they still would deserve better than that…
