I have recently installed Age of War III after a long absence. I have always played on pc but recently tried it out again on Xbox game pass. I decided to reinstall via steam. All went well, game installed, set preferences and created new character. My problem arose when I tried to move my character. I can move forward, back, left, right and jump, all without problems. I can use the interact button without issue. However, the second I use my mouse (Corsair Elite pro), the game lags and becomes unplayable. I have looked in the settings menu and reduced the FPS to 30, turned Vsync off and lowered the responsive settings in the game menu, all to no avail. I have uninstalled and fresh reinstalled on a different drive but still having same issue. Other games I play through Steam work fine. Is there something I am missing? My pc is on Windows 11. Latest graphics card drivers installed for Nvidia RTX 2070 and I have 16Gb ram. I am showing no problems with resources when I run NZXT CAM performance monitor. I really would appreciate any thoughts and advice you might have with this issue.
