Bug Description:

Very long respawn times after death

Bug Reproduction:

Die to respawn, by other players, npcs, and pulling bracelet

It is to the point where it is almost faster to restart the app. It makes it very hard to enjoy the game when respawn time takes so much longer than it should! It was a huge hindrance when raiding, I cannot even imagine how frustrated the people we raided were.

I forgot to mention, this issue has been present after 3.0. I had hoped the new patch would have fixed it, but it has not.

Thank you for your report. Can you share more information about this? Is the respawn timer longer or is the time passing slower?

Thank you for your reply. It is not the countdown itself, but the time it takes to re-spawn after the timer is complete. Not only does it effect spawning after death, but also the time it takes to spawn into obelisks and dungeons. USUALLY after starting the game the re-spawn load time is perfect for 1 time, but then goes back to being extremely long. Almost to the point where it is faster to just restart application. This has been effecting not only me, but all players on Playstation who I have spoken with.

If it helps, it has happened to me as well on PvE official servers.
Sometimes my character gets killed and the loading screen takes over 2 minutes to fill the bar, and then it stays there for a couple more minutes, and then I just close the app and start over again.
It was on PS5 (Digital).

Yes I’ll agree with this happening to me too on official PvE server on ps5 via internal factory SSD.

It doesn’t always happen to me. But it has happened.

One long gaming session it happened every time when respawning, obelisk map room usage, instance loading, volcano instance passage loading.

You can hear the message pop up saying you were killed by. Or even the death pop up about where to respawn. But I still see the loading screen.

Just under 3 minutes I think is the longest I’ve had to wait. Then I come back to my corpse because something killed me. So it’s like the game loads my character in but not the screen so I can’t do anything.

I’ve died from monsters, heat from volcano, etc because I couldn’t see or control things until after loading screen finishes.

Luckily at least for me it’s not common.

But when it happens avoid instances where there are monsters on other end. Or volcano unless you have the right gear and have taken food precaution before instancing.

It happens to me every time except for the first time each session of play. Happens to my whole clan too, most of whom are on ps4.
