Vocal Visibility Feature Set to 0 Not Working

Game mode: Online private
Type of issue: Bug
Server type: PvP
Region: USA

Private G-portal unmodded server that’s been up for a few days. Only me and my 4 friends using it.

VocalVisibilityDurationMinutes set to 0, yet several of my friends (who are also member of the one clan on the server that we all belong to) still show up as “Username Hidden”. Setting it to 0 should show every user on the server, all the time, but it does not.

Please provide a step-by-step process of how the bug can be reproduced. The more details you provide us with the easier it will be for us to find and fix the bug:

  1. VocalVisibilityDurationMinutes set to 0
  2. Look at player List

Where do you see that it is 0?

  • Gportal panel
  • In-game GUI
  • ServerSettings.ini

The setting works well for me.

For pretty much anything, I use the ServerSettings.ini file directly. I was asking which one was being used because I have read about cases of people using gportal panel but their settings not being adjusted accordingly in game. Basically, it was a problem of the gportal panel not the game setting.
