When AoW chapter 4 first started I had few issues that weren’t noticed by others. After the second or third day though the werehyenas for the Sacred Hunt just stopped spawning. Initially one spawned every night, but now, they just are not spawning at all.
Sheesh, they are spawning at me constantly. Annoyingly so.

No Werehyenas after starting the ‘hunt’, and purchasing ‘champion lures’
So no new fangs to complete the hunt!
You need minimum of 33 fangs(?) to buy the three lures and the war paint. If you fail - you’ll need more.
No Werehyenas, no fangs - hunt impossible to complete?
This is after several days, and a number of restarts.
Champion Lure works once, disappears after reset. So new lures are needed?
By any chance are you using a map mod and amunets to transfer? If a map mod overwrites the values to stop the spawns, it affects any map used in the modlist.
I’m actually not using any map mods, but, I am systematically disabling my mods tonight to take a look.
I made a small mod that will force them on if they are disabled:
Just put it at the end of the modlist

Indeed if your are experiencing such an anomaly in your game with the Werehyenas we would advise you to remove all the mods that you have installed to see if the issue is resolved.
We hope it returns your hunts back to normal!
I will also check for any conflicting mods.
I’ve ‘left’ the hunt hoping this may restart the ambushes, not without effect.
I have removed all mods. The werehyenas are not spawning. I will probably just reinstall them and use @darthphysicist lovely mod.
It would be interesting if they spawn with my mod if they arent spawning with the base game. For Funcom’s benefit, all my mod does is enforce the four hunter entries for the event with the same numbers from the original weightedspawntable. One of my maps (and I know of another one) changes those entries to something else so this mod is purely for people who want the werehyenas for the JS event (using map transfer to EL or something). I would think if they arent spawning base game, the mod wouldnt do anything, but if it does, that would mean something is wrong with the weightedspawntable (or the bp reference/code that references them) for some players, but not all.
I’ve done a little research and I think I found the issue. When using a mod that allows you to outlevel (higher than 60) the werehyenas that are only in the leveled list until 60, they just won’t spawn.
I’m guessing, based on some other comments and observations, so, if I’m wrong it won’t be the first time!
Yeah, lowering the level to 59 using admin after removing the leveling mod and waiting until after dusk, a werehyena spawned. So, for me the issue is more an annoyance than anything else. It would be nice though if the werehyena did not stop spawning if you are leveled past 60.
Darth, yeah the mod didn’t appear to work with solo on the base game.
Erelas1, I tried resetting level and attributes, with all the mods removed (the patch downloaded today) - without success.
(I had wondered, in my case, if the ambushes had stopped because I had completed Dungeon Delver which includes travel to midnight grove and defeating the boss; which might mess with the hunt events progress. - who knows?)
