The crafted dice. I thought that they were placables, but it does not work. I looked it up and it says that they are used in chat on PC, so are these poor little dice useless on ps4?

I think you select them and then select USE . A random number between 1 and the total of the number of dice highest number(s) appears in the chat.

If you click on USE what happens?

Nothing happens, as far as I can tell. If they indeed entertain you, should that not remove corruption? I will have to test, but that sounds too good to be true. But otherwise, clicking USE does nothing.
If they really are useless on ps4, then I have crafted about 8 of each type, thinking I could place them XD

Huh, that’s a strange difference. On PC you can “use” them from anywhere you can select them (container, inventory, hotbar, etc.) and they display the output in chat. Is there anything at all equivalent to chat on the Consoles?

No required keyboard so no chat. I would hate dealing with controller typing stuff…make it feel like the old nokia flip phone texting.

I guess. There’s always voice to text tho. About 2/3rds of my messages here are created that way.

They give you a pittance of crafting xp.
That is all they do on PS version.
Arguably they waste your crafting thrall’s time, so that has some verisimilitude…

They do not entertain or remove the corruption, tested this. Would have been nice though haha

Oh, so the dice are useable in chat. I think I understand now – That means they’re meant to be used as a tool to decide who in a group gets the loot.
But that still requires the group to be democratic and respect the rules and outcome of the dice rolls.

If they were placeable, I would request that the d4 deal minor damage and cripple.
I don’t know about anyone else but my gaming group refers to those things as caltrops.
