What the F*** is this update again? you bring the worst season update WITHOUT ANY KIND OF TESTING IT with tons of bugs and weird updates NOBODY asks for. and than you bring a hotfix that fixes some things, some not and breaks other stuff? do you have any devs left or are you just hiring interns for a few weeks and than wait for next season?

my inventory still doesnt save my OWN SORTING ORDER, if you sort your inventory once, and than go back to no sorting EVERYTHING stays like the last sorting categorie instead of going back to my own sorting
you cant switch between inventory menus with your left stick anymore. only with the right one. while i could get used to this, you cant force changes like that nobody asked for on us. atleast give us an option to decide which one we want ourselves
can we pls get the “stop” actian for follower back when pressing x double? it was the most reliable method of keeping thralls we want to capture alive. and i used it to leave my thrall outside of battle so i could scout ahead sometimes if there is something i want. we need that option back
and many more bugs if i just read through the forum… bugs i havent found because i immediately logged off when i see all the shit again… how? how can you screw up this game so badly. i really want this game to be around for long and be succesfull and full server and stuff but with your updates this is just not working… instead of making changes nobody wants, make endgame content, something to do, to grind for. reuse old dungeons, make harder versions to farm materials for better weapons or whatever. pls just dont let this game die through unfinshed updates, that are not tested AT ALL
I have been playing Conan since preview. I cant remember 1 update that wasnt a shit show. So it appears it is just Funcoms normal procedures. Plus I would say the majority of their good devs are working on Dune, which I am never going to play based on my experience with Conan, so things will take longer to fix. I love Conan, only reason I stayed this long, but Funcom continuously makes it harder to stay. I dont know if anyone has said it on forum, but who was the genius that desided to make the start/stop for benches and take all the same. Great idea. Smh, no clue. Maybe they just dont actually play their own game, just break it with updates the community doesnt want.
Was I just hallucinating the month long public beta?
I can guarantee you the problems with the update don’t stem from a lack of testing, but rather crunch to get everything reported fixed in time for full launch. A lot of the issues that made it through were already known issues, they just needed more time to fix. When the higher ups set a deadline that can’t be met, that’s how situations like this happen.
well I’m working in software engineering. Not in gaming direction, but i have to agree. IF there was some testing, then it was the worst testing of all times. It looks to me more, that they’ve choosen pretty specific users to test, or ignored all critics. I saw the interview of the developers and they said things like “no user is interested in spliting exact ammount of items, they want just have less ammount”. This tells me that the developer aswell as the user group never played more than 3 hours and highly likely just in admin mode. I mean find me one user and his explanation why he is interested halving his items with one klick.
Also the Screen settings were not tested, the item menue is not readble, i have tiny little buttons, that a) are pretty sure usless even if i could read them b) well, I can not read them.
For your argumentation, that testing have been done, but there was no time to integrate results in the development… sonds to me like “yes of course we build in the brakes in your car, but they don’t work”
Ok but who played that?? Was there some funcom employees or just a bunch of Jimbo”s in there? And what exactly did they do with testing? I see most of the bugs currently active with the update were reported during beta yet here we are. Having a public beta available is not in itself testing a damn thing.
There could have been a Darkzombie there, it was free and available to everyone on Steam.

The beta was open to everyone, people found bugs, people reported bugs, not all the bugs that were reported got fixed. That’s not from a lack of testing, that’s from not having enough time between beta and full release to actually fix them all.
Well if that’s the case everyone is asking the wrong question. We should be asking why it was released at all than. I don’t understand the point of putting undercooked food on your customers plate. I’m sure given the choice most people would prefer to wait longer for a proper meal. But that’s the other problem in here. If they give a date and hold it back to iron stuff out the forums are screaming about failed promises etc. if they release it buggered the rest of us are here screaming about shoddy updates. Damned if you do damned if you don’t. Prob got no one to blame but ourselves for the current state of communication and company policies
as I said “The brakes are 100% build in your car, but they don’t work” drive save. You can tell just that the money and time were spend on imitating testing, but obviously without single result. In that case the money could have been spend on beer for the developer team and would be still better investment.
LMAO, at least you guys can log into your games I havent been able to start conan since the hotfix.
Tried all the options but uninstalling and reinstalling the game and am debating on that since theyre gonna screw that up in 2 weeks with another hotmess which I have no doubt will break the game some more.
