why are all the servers locked and need a password?? I tried logging on an official server im on and it can’t get on says it locked and needs a password.
Official servers: On May 4th, 15:00 UTC, all Official PC servers will be brought down in anticipation of the update to Conan Exiles Enhanced (UE5). The entire server database will be updated to UE5, including your character. Once this happens, there is no way to take your character back to Conan Exiles Legacy (UE4). To keep your character in Conan Exiles Legacy, you will need to remove it from the server prior to May 4th. You can do this using the Server Transfer Tool. You will then be able to migrate your character to a Conan Exiles Legacy private server or single-player game.

Yea, they’re also do a silly server merge, which means some people might lose all their hard work… the UE update is fine, but the server merge is just ugh.

So toxic Exiles clans can prey upon the refugees. Great for them, reason to move on to better game companies for most. Prettier graphics aren’t worth the pain.
and its a direct road for more map
there was no way to save it i t was either siptah or el, due to map coordindates changes. do the less polpular took the hit.
Losing stuff on Siptah is a very small price to pay for being able to teleport between maps and have all other other goodies. We get to start again in an Enhanced edition! I’m up for starting over, although I know others like to have eternal stuff. And I have to say, while Funcom has had a bad record of springing things on us unannounced, this info about when the servers were going down was pretty well distributed. Not their fault if people didn’t read it. I’m excited we’re getting fresh servers - hope enough people come back to make it long term.
i do not agree, price is very high, it’s called the unfair price.
i would have agree with you if all conan map players and siptah players had to lost thier base to play this update, and in this case will have been a small price. but the fact to have only siptah player to pay the price, and not conan map players, make this price infinetly high and unfair. This is a major error they did in doing that.
There was other choices for this update (which is a great new for conan, but the way the deployement decision have been made is simply crazy)
Siptah players may go to EL and return to Siptah. You can rob EL player of smthg and run away where he/she can’t chase you because they just do not have this DLC 
If they had to loose their bases it would be twice unfair.
every body can acquire siptah and you can be sure that now on pvp server everybody will acquire it, but i cannot acquire back what i lost that was 4 years of gameplay on a perfect base for defense, i would have to spend may be over 100h to rebuild it as it was, which mean a base repaired and patched, and improved after may be 150 raid done on it
