Witch Hunts events do not appear in single player?

Have they ever worked? I’ve only ever seen one, and that was in the volcano on the public beta server.

None of them working for me (even grave matter)…
all encounters (aka events) are gone for now, and lets hope, we get them in chapter 3

I honestly haven’t seen one for a while now on my PS official server. Pretty sure it’s not just you.

I think they were shut off across the board due to a bug that would crash the game. It was happening on servers, both official and private, as well as single player. I haven’t seen anything that has said they were turned back on.

Probably not a big deal though. Most of their loot wasn’t that good. Though I did get an obsidian mace off the boss of the Mounds one when I was playing a lower level character on a fresh server. So, that was cool… but definitely not something worth end game content.

Events not just about a loot… they add some diversity to the game and make it more alive… my friend for example was clueless about giant squid thing from the skies, he was so shocked.
I told him this is world event - outer world began the invasion we must gather every1 to protect the exiled lands before it collapses with all bases across the map (lel). =D

I agree, but that only takes you so far. Doing a repeated event should yield appropriate compensation, otherwise the “diversity” of said event yields a diminishing return. People continue to fight in the unnamed city or the pools in siptah for both the fun AND the prospect of good loot. If the loot wasn’t factored in, they would likely be less popular by now. Case in point, the yugoth event had a good drop for schematic fragments, though they were removed from the event and it lost its true value considering how difficult it could be.
