As the title says, after drinking a yellow lotus potion, the recipes in the thaumaturgy table have also reset to the first upgrade of the Tome of Kurak. In my Knowledge section, the Sorcery tab is however correctly untouched.
I’ve tried taking the tome out, going out of the bench and then putting the tome back in.
I’ve also tried replacing the bench entirely.
Finally, i tried drinking Yellow Lotus while having the tome in my inventory, instead of having it in the bench as I did the first time.
No luck with any of these attempts
EDIT: The bug is way worse than I thought!
I endeavoured to re-fill my tome, starting with the first recipe (stone and putrid meat) and to my great surprise… I learned the mounts level recipe! And the old Putrid Meat/Stone recipe remained. I used it again, and again I got an upgrade!
This is quite gamebreaking, I can skip the whole resource game of the power up.
yes, also getting a second book from the cave breaks the resource game for getting all sorceries. (together with a sorcerer in the thaumaturgy bench). I also reported this bug here on the forum and Funcom are inspecting the problem. A lot of work for them with this sorcery update.

I’m loving the update though, this is obviously a bug but I’ve ran through the normal progression on a solo game to check out the progression, and it’s solid. And I like the spells we have in the testlive, hoping for more (also for all attributes to have corruption)!
I used the yellow lotus potion, too.
After this the recipe for the “Tome of Kurak” at the “Thaumaturgy Bench” was gone. I had no longer the option to extend the tome with another page.
At this point I was at the point, where the next page needs a grey lotus powder (or seed?).
I copied the game.db from my server game to the local game ->Same status.
Then I went to the cave and used the altar again → learned the next spell.
Back at the “Thaumaturgy Bench” I had now two possible recipes:
One which needs the putrid meat and stone and another one which needs demon blood and soul essence.
Yeah it’s a bit wonky. I took another yellow lotus today and same symptoms as before. I’ve not had any of the issues @mikelei has been experiencing though you raise an interesting point, I should try going back to the cave and see if I learn a new tome page “for free”
My magic learning has been fully interrupted with drinking a yellow lotus potion as well. i can still craft all the things up to that level, but the tomes recipes are not there to continue progressing through all magic stuff.
