Yog Cleaver doesn't work

Am I using this wrong? Kill a humanoid, use cleaver on them, get nothing… What am I missing here? Is it bugged?

I believe all religion tools are currently bugged and not getting mats when you use them. (ON TEST LIVE)

All corpse harvesting appears to be broken on Testlive.

Religious items and other tools like axes, picks, skinning knives, and cleavers do not work on humans.
