I have not been playing very long (a couple hundred hours) and the only major, game breaking problem I’ve had so far was when I purchased a new graphics adapter and my ancient psu wasn’t putting out it’s rated wattage and ended up not being sufficient for the new card. But that wasn’t Funcom’s fault.

That’s not to say that I haven’t had issues. The only real one that comes to mind is when my thrall decides it is better to stand there with it’s thumb up it’s butt instead of attacking. But that is not a constant issue, it crops up and goes away at random.

As far as my view of Funcom as a company: I have played Anarchy Online, Age of Conan, The Secret World (not legends though), and now Conan Exiles. I have subscribed to all of them and purchased the expansions (and/or DLCs where applicable), even when some of them were f2p or went f2p while I was playing them. I figure if I am going to play a game then I probably enjoy it enough to support the folks working on it.

this is one of those discussions where u see 2 sides of players; those who think the games broken and those who don’t see a broken game.

to a expect a game like conan or ark or whatever else is there to work first time on release is a bit of an overshot target. To play it and realise the game isn’t getting “fixed” is obviously disappointing, considering game cost was full price on launch.
Then again, if u bought the game on steam, CE isn’t exactly hiding its imperfections. You can see the AI, teleporting fights, various other things that aren’t working. You don’t need a week to realise the game is at a stale state in terms of polishing. Refund it.

I think eventually the game will be polished. It might take years but idk
I guess I expect what is humanly possible. If they knew the solutions, they would have solved issues. But they don’t. Just a two sided coin really.

Side note, my sub just ended so I can talk this. wow was a crap show for 2 years because of lack of content / time gated story progression which left you to simply grind and grind and grind rep or some resource. Just a “do this while we do that” kind of thing. Still exists to this day btw. Plus blizzard has a huge team to tackle problems and they running the game on the old code which makes bugs and glitches more predictable and controlled.

I should be sleeping right now :upside_down_face:
