The official 1500 server is having issues. First it kicked everybody off a couple of times. It told me I had no connection, which I would have believed if everybody else wasn’t being kicked off the server as well. Now after it kicked me and I’m trying to log back in authentication is failing.

Keep trying, same is happening where I am playing right now. Been able to get back on.

I know, but it’s an ongoing issue not just a one time thing. It’s repeating over and over. So I’m reporting it hoping they will fix it.

Here, server reports go ignored when you report them in the bug section.
I tried restarting Steam, now I’m having issues with the launcher. The join icon doesn’t come up, it’s just endlessly ‘running’.
Edit: I can’t even get it to stop without closing Steam.
The only thing it will help by posting here is that it will inform other players of an issue.
Bug reports on the forums are for bugs and this isn’t necessarily tied to a bug. So posting there for a server problem is not always the right way either.
If you want to inform FC you’ll have to submit a ticket through Helpshift under Server Performance. Make sure to reply to the automated email.
My guess is that FLS is being affected by Playfab although nothing announced atm.

When you’re getting temporary authentication errors never back out and restart, always stay logged in and keep retrying. This goes for Steam’s Tuesday weekly updates as well. When you shut it all down you lose your tether to FLS.

This is the best explanation of Funcom’s recent server stability issues. I did a separate analysis following MalwareBytes’ admin discussions about these kinds of server-dependent games and indeed Cloudflare seemed to be the central common issue.
I certainly agree that it is a contributing circumstance to Steam service disruptions.
We also have to consider other elements depending on hardware, such as consoles. Not to forget service disruptions caused by bugs either direct, indirect, by accident or on purpose.
