Seems the 1500 Server is listed, showed a ping of 98 but when you try to connect to it…Nothing happens…it acts like it is connecting but nothing then says that I was disconnected from the server. I can connect to all the others except this one.

Same issue for several days now. Battlemetrics, which was showing official server 1500 a couple of days ago is not even list 1500 when doing a search, although, as you stated, it does show up on my favorites Steam server list.
