So I see we can still make the poison arrow which requires gaseous orbs.
There was a mention that the damage that gaseous orbs do where going to be nerfed. But I did not expect THIS kind of nerf.
As an archer I do like using gaseous orbs and they where my go to arrow of choice. on a pve scale.
However, though I see them drop sometimes I am not seeing the ability to craft them myself. I also see that the recipe or feat to craft them has been removed.
This honestly is a real bummer to me.
Am I missing something here? Did it become one of those things you have to find a recipe for out in the open world for now or are we just not going to have them any more? What gives?
Hi Dragon! I believe you have to get a thrall on the Alchemy bench. Not sure what the minimum level is (im sure someone will be along shortly to tell us) but I have a Named alchemist thrall and I can now make them on the bench.
It’s Possible it’s been awhile since i actually ‘played the game’. I mostly spent my time in rp. I could be mistaken. I may have needed an alchemist and it might not have changed. It’s certainly a possibility. So I don’t know if it’s a 3.0 change to be honest. It’s possible with some of the mods I’ve used in the past that I maybe confused. I just remember being able to craft them without a thrall. Thanks for the help.
Yep you’ve always needed an alchemist for orbs. I wish it wasn’t so - it’s one of the reasons there isn’t much early game raiding in PVP with demon-fire orbs. You can’t make them until you have an alchemist, and by the time you get an alchemist you’re normally high enough level to make explosive jars anyway.
