Do we get the update this year or do I have to wait another 6 months and why we dont get a hotfix for some bugs like climbing or the enemy hitboxes? Ignasi said on 21 Sep they fix climbing as soon as possible no we have 27 mai. Pls can i have any information the waiting is horrible because i love the game.

Well, we still havnt even gotten a 2.9 patch yet soooo…are we going from 2.8 to 3.0 straight away? Thats weird. Is 2.9 going to be a massive patch fixing bugs, reworking tons of mechanics to pave way and pre emptively smooth things out for a better 3.0 launch? Developer communication sure would be nice about now.

I don’t know when 3.0 is going to come, but I wish they would at least talk to us. What is on the roadmap? What can we expect for 3.0? Is Conan Exiles still worth playing or has development pretty much dried up – and we should look at other games for entertainment?
Not knowing is probably the worst part about this 3.0 update. I can’t speak for everyone, but personally, the lack of communication is worse than delays or setbacks in developing something.

You’re right. As an owner and admin of a CE privat server cluster community, continuously creating content for community players and dealing with mods, it is important to know at least something like a roadmap to plan the further development of the cluster. The same is important to the Modders for the further developments of mods. I really hope for some news about the direction the game will take, so we can continue to work on our community content and/or mods. Actually everyone stands still and is waiting for the GO by Funcom.

I tend to just pay attention to how the next updates affect saved games, mods and that kind of stuff. The fact that the game is still being supported and enhanced is enough. The hype-train for 3.0 may likely blow anything out of proportion and so, when it eventually lands (likely '22), there will be the usual swathe of ‘disappointment’ and the like instead of focusing on the fact the game is still being maintained. Will be nice to see some new stuff though. Only reason I would like an idea of when is so I can buy up my popcorn and beverage supplies.
