This is a general inquiry to those who have been permanently banned from Official servers and had their ban appeal granted.
What was required in the process?
As I understand it first you submit the Ban Appeal request through Zendesk, asking the reason of course.
Then you receive a response?
Then what happens?
What kind of “proof” is required?
Do you get a detailed explanation of the cause?
To add some spice into the mix, those who were successful while playing Official PVP would be greatly appreciated. If the reason given upon log in is “use of unauthorized access to gain an advantage or to harm game play or service” would be most beneficial for me.

I do know of people that it has happened to but I am unable to reach them.
I’ve had a couple of friends that were banned from official but the ban was lifted after appealing. They won the appeal because both them and several others had screen shots and recorded what actually happened. If the ban was for something said in global you might be able to get them to review the chat log if you know the approximate time.
One of the problems with global chat right now is there is an exploit where hackers can talk as you in global. I’m not sure how it would look in the chat logs but to everyone that is on it looks like you are doing the talking. I recorded another player talking as me a couple of weeks ago just in case they tried reporting me for racism in global
We’ve taken a look at all possibilities of course.
Clan name, character name and engagement in global was fine. No issues with the chat exploit you’re talking about. Seen it a lot recently but mostly humorous jabs by whomever was doing it.
A lot of desynching as is normal in PVP. Could possibly be a misunderstanding in that regard. All parties were affected.
No answers yet of course.
But what I do know is nothing was done to warrant it.
In these skinny cases, the proof is what remains of the gist, if there is one. I had to give different angles of that proof put together. There were no instructions.
I’d suggest to submit another ticket … of the 8 of my triends who had perma bans only 6 got them back yet most were banned at the same time for the same things
Some provided proof some didn’t… let’s just say the people who were polite got a lot further with there replies than the others who were a bit more ticked off understandably
