AGE OF WAR - New Thrall Stats

Sounds the same as Legendary Weapons being OP and much easier to obtain than poor little Obsidian or Black Ice weapons XDD

I always supported that idea.
Why isn’t it implemented?
It makes complete sense. What doesn’t make any sense is having such differences between factions.
Wouldn’t that be.much better than what we have?

You got me laughing there.
But my point is that because FUNCOM decides to do something despite the feedback, it doesn’t mean it is the right decision. I quoted an excerpt of the last part of your post first because it demonstrates exactly this.
Your idea is excellent. You have been suggesting it for ages. FUNCOM completely ignores a very sound idea that is not even hard to implement.
Meanwhile, they give us this bs.

And I am very well aware it was YOU behind all the mess with the foundations. Don’t even try to hide it. Your telepathic powers made the devs screw up! :expressionless:

Agree.
I crave for the day I’ll go to the spider as soon as I leave the desert and she completely fraks me up, sending me right back there. I don’t even bother placing a bedroll. That shows how hard it is to kill it. On top of that, now it only takes two pairs of stone daggers. It used to take four.

As I understand it, the difficulty to tame some factions over others depends on how advanced a civilization is. Like, the Dafaris are quite feral in comparison to some others, they don’t wear much protection (their upper body is often uncovered). It makes sense to me to be able to tame them faster than a guy in full armor (an easy T1 Dafari to tame compared to a T1 cimmerian).

Now the Darfaris are arguably the strongest faction, @E.y .

But once trained (leveling is their training) and geared up, there should be no differences. This difference is due to hidden modifiers that affect how they level, how they resist dmg and their dmg output. They make no sense at all.
All factions, once trained and geared up should have similar stats.

This is what I don’t understand. Let’s say, for a noob player like me, is there a way to see it in the game? Like, once my Dafari is lvl 20, do I see the same stats as any other guy from an other faction?

Either way, when you tame them (knock them out), it’s still easier to tame a Dafari than a guy with an armor. Their health bar is so little. I agree with that.

No, there isn’t, @E.y . But @Xevyr compiled a list with the most important.
If he doesn’t mind linking it, you’ll know.
It used to be in the wiki, but I believe it isn’t updated yet.
Both Thugra and the Darfari champion have a melee dmg multiplier above 3, which is brutall with the new legendaries, but the thrall’s damage has been set to 0.5 on official servers, which lessens the overall dmg (the multiplier is just a small, albeit important factor of the dmg formula) by half.

There you go:

I think it was linked in the OP though :stuck_out_tongue:

Don’t forget to change to the correct tab, @E.y . The list has both AoS and AoW stats.
Thanks, @Xevyr ! You’re priceless man.

Thank you. Yes, I saw it in the first post. It’s just that I don’t understand it much xD

The higher the multiplier, the higher their dmg output, @E.y .

Alright, thank you very much!
I did not see the tabs, thank you for that tip, and also for explaining to me how it worked.

Ask when you don’t know, @E.y .
Guys like @Taemien and @Xevyr know mostly everything there is to know about the game and both are very active in the forum. If you are on PC and play with mods, check @Xevyr 's work. He makes very useful mods.
I’m on ps5, so no sugar for me. :unamused:

Definitely check out Xevyr’s mods. He’s definitely way better at that than I am.

Thank you very much.
I am on PC, but on an official server, so I do not use mods, though I saw his shelf map mod in one of the posts some time ago.
Oh, I just discovered that you can click on the titles of the columns, and they open a description! Neat!

Well, it’s all subjective. If we were playing on a private server, my clan mate would be into utility mods (space saving items, etc).
I’m all for fashion xD

Yes yes! go use my mods :stuck_out_tongue:
Here’s a new one I just made yesterday:

Exactly what I was seeing in my testing today. Plus the RHTS are so bad in comparison I don’t even want to finish leveling them. Dalinsia, Lian and Janos are more appealing than they used to be but nothing compares to the Darfari named for dps.

I can also say the Siptah accursed npcs on barbaric difficulty are absolutely brutal on these new thralls.
