I’m pretty sure it doesn’t show you the amount of total building pieces that are decaying.

I believe that depending of what your first building piece was that creates the entry base_id # so for the example here sandstone fundations , this is the buildings piece that is selected as entry to the text shown in the event log for decay , now let’s say that after upgrading to a higher tier there is 15 sandstone fundations left not upgraded , and that very first one is also not upgraded , then when your base is decaying it will show only those ( as to not flood your event log )
it’s just that with the screens alone it might have been something else as the chest that stay standing could have been already empty since others disapeared … ![]()

This all sucks though, you can’t even fight against this anymore, let alone on PVE ![]()
hopes it’s hidden well enough , remember that we only need the “grace period” event log msg in that case so even a few minutes will suffice so you can check the event log and go refresh as soon as you see the new entry apear , cause if you let it totally decay it’s another story in terms of entries you’ll get “lost stability” entries I suppose depending on how many placeables on placeables you’ve decorated your base like chests top of chests ect and if somebody pops your base you’ll also get the entry of it with the name of the piece he “demolished” ect…
