All server lists show 0 (Zero) players

What type of voodoo or magical incantation are we supposed to perform to get around this,

or is this one of those “Its a feature not a bug” bs scenarios.

This is hit or miss for me as well. About 75% of the time it shows 0 on the list and when I get in there are 5-20 folks also playing in the server.

For me it shows most of the time 0 players. Sometimes it shows me a wrong number and sometimes it’s really the correct number.

Once it shows 40/40 for every server even if there was nobody online. But that was long time ago. If I remember than you wasn’t able to login. Maybe than came a fix and this is the result.

For me it’s not a big issue and I can live with it :joy:

The whole server menu is a strange construction. Looks like funcom spends 2 hours of development time to this.
There should be a background thread for loading the servers. I can not move over the menus when it loads anything. But over the years I am so good in using the short frames where you are able to select favorites and go on your server that i am not sure i will reconize it when it will be fixed.

This bug is also present on Xbox. Additionally I’ve noticed that my character level is also random on the server select menu. I’m not sure if these bugs are related or if they just seem like they are based on proximity

Update logging I can see players on some private servers didn’t see any one on official. Not up to bouncing in to check accuracy.

My server didn’t show any one on and yet there is one.

Thanks for the replies even though we have no solution, i wanted to ask the community because they are pretty good at finding workarounds.

You are right about that we have some very resourceful people.

Just realized the huge glaring issue…because it shows 0 pop. Noobs don’t log in and believe the game is dead. This issue needs to be a higher priority due to the retention needs. I didn’t connect it till I was on fb and saw a new person detail how they felt they lost money on buying the game due to inactivity.

I think it has something to do with the “Connecting to live services” thing, telling you to sign in to your acct when you are clearly already signed in to PSN, tbh it acts like some kind of scammy virus installer.

Hi,

This has been happening on all platforms for some time.

If you wait 15 -30 seconds you will be able to “refresh” the server list (triangle button). The server population should show up after the list refreshes.

Good luck!

That worked! thank you, i never tried because there is no refresh prompt

*edit> i should say it was not there and it shows up after a minute or two
