I came back to my game too fine my animal pen gone with everything in it . And I’m in a PvE I was only gone for about a day
If your pen was placed by itself too far away from your main base, it probably decayed.
You need to either place your pen close to your base so it can share your base’s decay timer, or place it on top of a bunch of foundations to give it a reasonable decay timer of its own.
