Anyone else having frequent Siptah crashes?

I play mainly on Siptah, and I have experienced a number of crashes there since the chapter 4 update. If I’m alone on the server, I can usually play an hour without crashing. If other people show up, I know that a crash is coming soon. This problem makes it impossible to do content like the purge. The server would likely crash right in the middle of it, especially if I had friends helping. And who wants to play alone?

I was wondering if anyone else had been experiencing crashes on the Isle of Siptah or if I’m just cursed?

By the way, I have had no such crashes on the Exiled Lands map.

I’m having it on both regardless of how many people are on. EL seems like thrice a day, Siptah is worse.

They’re working on a hotfix, dunno if that’ll address it or not.

Yes, I’m on Xbox X and I have constant crashes on siptah I noticed it happens more when the storm is happening or you’re trying to get to your base

Ah, Siptah server crashes are listed on the things being addressed in the hotfix. Very good.

Not Siptah but our Exiled Lands private server crash more or less every 30 - 45 minutes since age of war chapter 4. Xbox server.

And with every crash, the time in game reset to noon and we have longer days and nights so can’t even try the hunts …

Some players have said that the crashes occurs after meteor strikes but can confirm it. But seems possible as meteor strikes were already the cause of massive lag spikes before Age of War 4.

It’s starting to get very annoying now, all those crashes on Siptah. When is funcom going to solve this? And then fix immediately the falling through the floors. I am searchingfor hours, looking for my thralls. If this lasts a long time I will go and play another game for a few months.

No, but i appear to be missing them since right after i leave a server it goes offline- :rofl:

Sure have Ps5. When it’s good it’s 2-3 crashes an hour. When it’s bad I’m lucky to get 10 mins in without relogging.

Yeah I posted about this in the bug reports, and then I posted my solution also. For me, it was a base at C-9 built too close to the new NPC that spawns there. Deleting that base solved the problem, but I had to use a mod to delete it since I couldn’t get close enough without the server crashing. It would also be possible to target it for deletion with an SQL script, but installing a mod, deleting it in single player, and then putting the database back online would probably be an easier and safer solution for unmoded server owners.

In addition to that there may be other problem locations, and also there have been reports of Siptah Turtles causing crashes.

The dev team has acknowledged the issue of the Siptah crashes and has said they are looking into it thankfully.

Siptah turtles causing crashes! I wonder how that was determined. I do have a big one at my beach base…

Someone named Pablo Escobär on the Admins United discord saw LogRep: FRepLayout::UpdateChangelistHistory: History overflow, forcing history dump BP_NPC_Wildlife_TurtleMedium_Pet_C showing up repeatedly in his crash logs, so he used a SQL script to remove all of them from the actor_position and properties tables and it solved his crashes.

I’m not enthusiastic about running SQL scripts that remove things in my DB, but if deleting the building at C-9 hadn’t solved the problem for me, this would have been my next step.

I didn’t see anything about the Siptah crashes mentioned in the beta hotfix…

So apparently no fix for the Siptah crashes yet, at least none listed in the patch notes.
