Greetings Atomicara!
Thank you for reporting your situation regarding the battlepass cabinet.

Situations like this may be due to mods that are being used in the server.
In order for us to test this out, I would suggest for you to delete the following file:
Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Mods\modlist.txt and manually unsubscribe from all your Conan modes. This will guarantee that mods are not loaded.

Also, make sure to verify the files of the game and restart you computer after doing so.

Please let us know if the issue persists after performing the suggested steps Atomicara.

Thank you for reaching out to us!

this is even happening on x box whitout mods

Hello,

i have unsubscribe from all Conen modes, i have delete the mods from the server and i have deleted the modlist.txt - I have restarted the server and i have restartet my pc.

Now I had an error that I haven’t had for a long time and only occurred occasionally. Someone has called this error a rubber band. I can’t move, a few steps and I’m back to my starting position. It took me several restarts and nerves to break this error.

But the error with the closing of the cabinet of curiosities still exists. The error that the E key no longer closes something, that is open, occurs sporadically with other things. The only difference between the curiosity cabinet to the other closable things are, that there is still an animation in the background. Here you know that the E key is registered, but the menu is no longer closed. With other things, such as a chest, corpse, etc., nothing happens, so the “Inventory” menu remains open.

And thanks to @Bearhunter, who confirms the error on an X-Box without mods.

Thanks for the help and support, but not all errors are always due to mods. And if you develop a game with official mod support, shouldn’t the mods be integrated by the developers in such a way that they don’t hinder the main engine?

The two mods I had installed were only for matching XP and converting the level to experience points. It’s annoying when you can’t level up any more after a level of 60 in this game. It’s like driving a car and after 10,000 km the counter stops, why?

Some players would stop at level 60. I’ve discovered everything, played all the dungeons, why should I keep playing? That’s usually what they say. I could still give attribute points, why can’t I do that and why does the game stop at level 60.

I know the situation because our Valheim server is dead right now, max level reached, achieved everything that could be achieved and the game is dead. Now we have landed on Conan Exiles. The game is much more extensive, but some players in our clan are annoyed by the level limit and the attribute limit.

Since we all started at the same time, except for small differences, I was able to adjust the server settings “from level 60” so that we “human players” deal less damage and the enemy damage keeps increasing so that the enemies still remain interesting and difficult. A Harpie “we are level60+ to 150 with mod” kills us with a maximum of 3 attacks.

And when a clan member says I reached level 130 today, boah that’s an incentive for the other clan members. And we make our way to the next dungeon… to unlock the double jump, to use the bow without pointlessly resetting and reassigning all the attribute points so that we can try out other things.

Thanks for reading, sorry for the long text.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and thoughts with us Atomicara!

Its true that not all bugs are due to mods, but it is very important for us to first understand if the player is indeed using them or not, just so our team can properly assess the situation. For this reason, our bug report here in the forums has that exact question in it, just so we can get all the information we can and go directly to the problem at hand :slightly_smiling_face:

Also, quite admirable to read the details of your Conan Exiles experience and how you and the players around you are playing. No doubt it makes it for a quite interesting playthrough! 3-hit-kill for an Harpie? outch!

Again, we thank you very much for your feedback Atomicara and our team is already investigating the Cabinet issue.
Thank you for sharing your experience and continue conquering the lands!
